What is it?
Nyunyu is a shop where they sell a variety of accessories from earrings and bracelets to socks and bags at a very affordable price! While traveling, you can’t forget buying souvenirs for you friends and families, right? This is the best place for you to shop if you’re short in budget!
Nyunyu has other branches in Dongdemun and Myeongdong and Nyunyu, Dongdemun is the biggest shop that they have a three-story building shop! If you’re looking for somewhere close, you also can check out the other branches as well.
Before visiting the place, they also have an online homepage for you to check what items they sell. You can shop online but it asks for a delivery feel. So if you’re near I suggest you to visit the place.

I bought two earrings, a hair clip and a silver ring❤️ Both earrings cost me almost ₩10,000 (around $6~7)! The quality is very decent! But I know some people have skin allergies if the accessories aren’t real gold/silver. If that’s the case it would be better to look for another shop that sells real gold/silver or you can look for other items for souvenirs like hats, bags, and keychains! They’re also so cute and very affordable!

Everyday 10:00 a.m. ~ 11:00 p.m. (same with Nyunyu, Myeongdong)
*for Nyunyu Dongdemun, it opens from 11:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 a.m. the next morning.

Subway:
The shop is located between Gangnam (line 2/green line, shinbundang line/red line) and Sinnonhyeon (line 9/beige line, shinbundang line/red line) station.
Nyunyu, Gangnam is located between the two stations but it’s a little bit nearer to Gangnam station. It’s around 4-5 minutes walk from either station.
If you took Line 9/ beige line, you should stop at Shinnonhyeon Station and get out of Exit number 7. When you get out of the Exit, you just need to walk straight to reach the shop.
When using Line 2/ green line, you have to stop at Gangnam station and look for Exit number 10. When you get out of Exit number 10, you just need to go straight until you reach Nyunyu.
I personally used the shinbundang line/ red line and stopped at Gangnam station. After getting off at Gangnam station, I looked for exit number 10. There are signs showing you where the exits are so rather than looking on the phone, try looking up for signs 😄.
The exit number is written before you go out so make sure you check them before climbing all the stairs! 😆
Bus:
If you choose to ride a bus to Gangnam, there are tons of buses going to Gangnam station. To name a little, they are: 640, 4312, 9711, Seocho 09, 1101, 1101N, 1241, 6001, 6002 and more!
When taking the bus just make sure that it takes you to either Gangnam station or Shinnonhyeon Station. If you’re still not sure what bus you have to take, try looking into Naver/ Kakao map.
Car:
Gangnam is a really busy place. Because it’s filled with company buildings, shops, and restaurants, in the weekdays, it’s packed with busy office workers. And in the weekends, it’s filled with couples, people hanging out with friends and people who like to shop. And so, I strongly recommend you to use the subway, bus, or a taxi.
Additional Tips?
If you purchase more than ₩15,000 ($10~11), you can get a tax refund! After you purchase your items at the counter, you can use the tax refund machine located within the shop. You do need your passport so don’t forget to bring it! If you forgot your passport, you still can do it in the airport so no need to worry. 😉
